                                                    what we want in life if we dont know what it is (Setting goals for your life, 2002). Goals give us direction for all aspects of our lives (career, personal,  
                                                
                                                    family); they give us a purpose in life; they infuse our lives with passion and purpose; and its impossible to get anywhere without them (Hopkins, 2003). "Not having goals is  
                                                
                                                    similar to sailing a ship across the Atlantic without a map. Goals, like maps, help you get to your destination much faster than sailing through life aimlessly" (Hopkins, 2003). 	There  
                                                
                                                    are certain things to keep in mind while setting goals. First, make sure the goal "is something you really want, not just something that sounds good" (Donohue, 2005). Second, goals  
                                                
                                                    cannot contradict each other; its impossible to buy a million dollar mansion if your goal is to earn $60,000 a year (Donohue, 2005). Third, its necessary to have goals for  
                                                
                                                    each of the six areas of life: family and home; spiritual and ethical; social and cultural; financial and career; physical and health; and mental and educational (Donohue, 2005). Fourth, write  
                                                
                                                    goals in positive terms, not negative ones; i.e., dont say "I dont want to be fat," say "Im thin" (Donohue, 2005). Fifth, write the goals in complete detail; the more
