more reserved nature and while enjoying the friendship I believe we also learned from each other. I first met Leigh when I was only 7 years old; she had
moved to the local area and started attending the same school as me. As the new girl in class there was an immediate buzz and a great deal of interest
in the new girl. Being reserved I did not push myself forward, although I was curious. The weeks went by, and we were not immediate good friends, although we would
easily acknowledge each other and chat at times. This changed after Leigh had been as the school about a month; in a physical education class we were asked to get
into pairs, rather than choose who we would work with we were placed into pairs by the teacher. At first I felt awkward, the exercises were easy, with task such
as throwing and catching a ball, but Leigh appeared to be comfortable and confident. I was while doing these exercises we started to talk and get to know each others.
Leigh had moved to the area because of her fathers work, she had seen a number of moves over the preceding years and hoped that this time she would be
able to stay for a while. The conversation went on and we had lunch together. I found Leigh interesting; she had been many places I had only heard of
