and the issue of terrorists, there are also many individuals who are loudly arguing that the war in Iraq is unjust. In all honesty, even people who were 100% behind
the war in the beginning are slowly coming to see that it has been a futile and useless war that has cost us billions of dollars and left many families
without fathers and sons for no good reason. The following paper argues how the war in Iraq is unjust. War in Iraq is Unjust First and foremost it
seems that most people may well have forgotten that the war in Iraq was essentially started because the United States was attacked by terrorists, apparently designed by Osama Bin Laden,
and that the country of Iraq had weapons of mass destruction. Neither were found. Bin Laden has been traced to another region, and no weapons of mass destruction were found,
yet the war continues, as it apprehended Saddam and the reason for the war became the creation of a democratic rule in Iraq. Clearly the reasons for going to war,
and then continuing the war changed and as such there is no clear indication that the war is just for its foundations have never been stable. One author notes
that, "In the aftermath of the fighting with Iraq, two just war principles in particular - just cause and proportionality - reveal the injustice of the war" (DeCosse). This author
indicates that President Bush also cited, for reasons of war, the need to enforce United Nations resolutions (involving weapons), the need to liberate the people, but that Bush, more often
than not, always seemed to cite self-defense as the reason (DeCosse). Bush indicated that the nation could not expect signs to be evident for the need, but that we needed
