issue of Fortune magazine, with the annual salaries shown in thousands of dollars. The difficulty with this particular chart is that its not sure why there are five row (as
there are no identifiers on the vertical axis). For the sake of this paper, however, well assume that the identifiers on that axis might be years from 1991 to 1995;
and well assume that the first and second columns are starting salaries of public accountants and financial planners, with the latter two being the maximum they can earn in their
profession. If the student wants better emphasis, he or she must know what the vertical axis is labeled, and must also do a better job of identifying the raw data
itself. In addition, the student has been asked to use the Mann-Whitney-Wilcoxon Test to identify the figures. Loosely defined, this test ascertains
