                                                    the PMBoK, indeed the Project Management Institute (PMI) claim that PMBoK is the defacto standard for project management with the way it is set up as a framework with numerous  
                                                
                                                    subsets that lay down generally accepted good practice (PMI, 2009). This is a set of standards in a framework that has been developed over many years with many revisions (Wildman,  
                                                
                                                    1986). However, this is not the only framework, even if it is a dominant framework. There are many others, some of these tend to be specialised looking at specific type  
                                                
                                                    of projects, such as software projects, others are more general.  A model used widely in Europe, especially in the UK is that of PRINCE, and PRINCE 2. Much of  
                                                
                                                    the literature sees these models as comparable, where a project manager is making a choice for a general project management framework either of these may be chosen (Turner and Simister,  
                                                
                                                    2000).          However, when looking at the use of PRINCE, and PRINCE 2, the more recent version, there are both interesting similarities
