The organizations mission is to "provide high-quality behavioral health services to the consumers within our care," with concepts such as recovery, wellness and achievement built into the organizations philosophy (About October Road Inc.). The organizations website doesnt really focus on decision-making processes that are most prevalent. However, based on the fact that this organizations mission promotes emotional and mental wellness and recovery, we can make some assumptions about the types of decision-making processes that could take place in October Road Inc. When it comes to decision-making processes, organizations typically need to take into account stakeholders. In this particular case, the stakeholders would be the clients themselves, their families and friends and, to an extent, the community at large. Also included in the stakeholder mix should be October Roads staff. Needless to say, the staff at October Road would likely focus on the clients first, then family second. The organizations staff, interestingly enough, might be last on the decision-making list (this is typical in most non-profits).
